"Par Quatre Chemins" Chateau La Coste
Curators : Yvannoé Kruger et Margaux Knight
The Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium embodies the modernist utopia of a fluid, open, and organic architecture. Its comma-like shape appears to emerge from the ground, echoing the curves of the surrounding vineyard landscape. Here, the artworks generate their own space—forms of living architecture. This pavilion becomes a theater of moving structures, where space is activated, performed, and redefined through gestures, materials, and narratives. The artists’ practices question how we inhabit our natural or built environment.
Installed in the basin of the Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium, Clara Imbert presents a series of 15 steel antennas—sensitive receivers that seem to capture and transmit the invisible echoes of their environment. Halfway between technology and speculative poetry, the installation becomes a sentient organ of the building.
